The Wakulla Correctional Institution project included the conversion of three Secure Housing Units, one Infirmary addition to the Front Support Building and interior renovations to the Front and Rear Support Buildings. The conversion of the SHUs designated as Dorms O, P and Q will accommodate mental health programming and therapy in the quadrants. The Infirmary addition at Wakulla Annex includes a 4,500 sq. ft. addition to the Front Support Building that will include a security officer’s station, nurse’s station, an eight-bed ward and six secure cells. Each portion of this project had a separate design firm and was treated as a separate project by Allstate, but was covered under one FDC contract.
