Freeport Elementary School

This two-phase expansion and renovation includes an initial phase to provide a new 15,000 sq ft classroom building addition with 11 new classrooms and supporting spaces, a new parking lot, and a new parent/bus drop off area. The second phase provides a new cafetorium, kitchen, back of house (supporting) spaces, and administrative office building (totaling approximately 34,000 sq ft), as well as much needed renovations and remodeling of existing campus spaces. These renovations include existing classrooms, conversion of existing old cafeteria into new educational spaces, and a face lift for the existing library/media center. Also included is the addition to the central energy plant for the school’s mechanical systems and upgrade the HVAC equipment and electrical equipment campus-wide and a new drive-through entrance canopy at the front of the school.
