Cecil E. Gray Middle School

The fast-track campus replacement of the Cecil E. Gray Middle School began with demolishing nine existing buildings, and was followed by the full renovation of one building, renovating and more than doubling the square footage of two more buildings, remodel of the gym into a cafeteria, and constructing a new 3-story classroom building and gymnasium; all in less than 18 months. The campus replacement included a new 508-seat auditorium complete with state of the art systems and support spaces such as dressing rooms, storage and restrooms, and a new 19,500 sq ft gymnasium included wrestling room, weight room, basketball courts, telescoping seating, locker rooms, coaches facilities and concession area.
