Tampa Community Park All-Inclusive Playground

The New Tampa Community Park All-Inclusive Playground is a 12,000 square foot project site which is part of the existing park site, consisting of 56.15 acres. This is a design-build collaboration for the City of Tampa’s Parks and Recreation Department, and designed as a fully accessible playground facility for all children including those with physical, cognitive, and sensory disabilities and their families. Features include specialized play equipment, site furnishings including seating, drinking fountains, and BBQ/picnic areas, shade structures and gazebos, fencing, and lighting. It includes ADA-compliant restroom facility, WiFi and security cameras, as well as various artistic elements. The project site is designed to meet ADA guidelines, CPSC and IPEMA safety guidelines, and local building codes were required for development of the playground.
