Flagler County Jail Expansion

The expansion of the Flagler County Judicial Complex included extensive site work development, new secure housing facilities, new support services - booking and sallyport, food service / kitchen addition and renovations, complete replacement of security detention and access control systems, renovations, and re-purposing of existing secure and support spaces. The support building includes an enclosed double drive sally port with automatic coiling overhead doors creating a secure area for loading and unloading inmates. The project was constructed in phases due to the secure occupied status. Site work and utility development was completed to support the current programmed facilities and all future master program needs. The new housing addition was completed first followed by the new support services allowing those new spaces to be occupied prior to the renovation activities. The new housing facilities were constructed to support seven (7) different classifications of inmates under one roof with completion separation of all inmate classifications. New and renovated facilities were fully fitted new security and detention access control systems and with new video visitation systems.
