Lynn Haven, Florida
Client: Bay District Schools
Size of Project: Multiple Facilities / 106,063 sq ft
Allstate’ s first project at Mosley High included over 90,000 sq ft of renovations and improvements including classrooms and laboratories, upgrading existing restroom facilities, improvement of corridors and student common spaces, gymnasium renovations, reconstruction of kitchen / dining space, and substantial energy improvements. The majority of this work was completed during summer break with a small amount of kitchen renovations completed during the first eight weeks of the school year. This project was followed by the new Gretchen Nelson Scott Fine Arts Center on the same campus. The facility includes a technologically modern performing arts center with a 600-seat auditorium, a 40-feet deep stage and stage house with over 40-feet high ceilings, high performance acoustical features, advanced performance lighting, and digital audio visual systems. Support spaces include a separate sound insulated HVAC equipment mezzanine, A/V control rooms, dressing rooms, prop storage and staging areas, and efficient lobby / staging spaces, as well as patron restrooms. A welcoming central plaza leads gracefully into this new center which provides a much-needed community facility to host lectures, community theater productions, and other civic programs.
